Finalizamos nuestra tercera y ultima placa!!!

Hace poco pudimos terminar nuestra ultima placa. Nuestro siguiente reto es poder terminar la obra negra.

Casa a las naciones en su segunda fase de 2011 ha tenido los siguientes avances:

A la fecha se ha construido levante de muros estructurales.

La escalera del primer al segundo piso.

Nueve (9) columnas para recibir la tercera placa.

Igualmente estamos armando las otras 9 columnas que

esperamos fundir esta semana del 13 al 20 de Junio junto a la segunda escalera.

Esperamos terminar antes del 30 de Junio.

Second Floor Progress!!!

The original building permit issued in April 2009 to JUCUM Cartagena to construct the House of the Nations, was initially granted for 2 years. By the grace of God, the authorities have granted us an extension of 1 year on top of the original lease, leaving us until April 2012 to complete construction.

As you can see in the photos, the formwork was put in place and the concrete slab has been poured and cured for the second floor. That's one less floor to go! We are getting there step by step "paso a paso", but there is still a long way to go. We are still short of funds at the moment, so please pray that the necessary funds required for materials and labour will be found, and that the construction will be completed by the deadline of April 2012.
